Fiber Deployment Manager

Job Summary:

Fiber Deployment Manager is responsible for project management and oversight of construction related activities for new builds or existing projects. This will include the ownership of the project scope, timeline, and budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure construction standards are followed.
  • Perform quality audits and ensure issues are remediated before the vendors are released from the project. 
  • Interface with key internal stakeholders 
  • Interface with and monitor progress of contractors. 
  • Understand the technical requirements of our engineering teams and ensure the completed project meets these requirements. 
  • Create detailed fiber network planning packs to build scalable and future proof infrastructure. 
  • Program management, risk mitigation and reporting status reviews to management and internal customers. 
  • Develop long-term strategic partnerships in support of our key markets. 
  • Creation of project scope and equipment requirements, assist with request for proposals, and capital requests. 
  • Hire and coordinate fiber inspectors. 
  • Provide regular, accurate reports on the project 
     

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of the fiber construction process, engineering tools and software, mapping applications, and fiber customer installation process. 
  • Understand fiber deployment types and insure that diversity requirements that are required are met. 
  • Understand the health and safety requirements and ensure compliance is met within their markets.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones
  • Ability to travel 

Tower Tech I

Job Summary: 

Tower Tech I is responsible for assisting in the erection, construction, and/or maintenance of wireless towers, and for ensuring that work is performed in accordance with all safety and quality guidelines and expectations. This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with overtime and weekend requirements. 

Light travel is required for this position. Usually between 0 to 50% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform work on tower top, looking after all aspects of work while at the tower top, ensuring that a safe, quality installation has been performed, including rigging, hoisting, landing, fastening, load hopping, etc.
  • Installation of up-top equipment including masts, clamping, bracing, supports, antennas, RRUs, cabling, bolting, assist in shooting proper azimuth within tolerances, labeling, picture-taking, documentation. Assist in gathering all closeout documents are an absolute must.
  • At the instruction of Tower Lead, perform coax, fiber, lines, and hybrid cable installation, connector installation, sweep and testing assisting, weather proofing, color-coding, labeling, etc. connect coax feedlines and jumpers per piping diagrams, and support and fasten adequately for a quality, lasting installation.
  • Do grounding, terminations, fastening, proper bolting and antioxidant use, support of leads, cadwelding as required, etc.
  • Assist on overall job on groundwork including all tasks required to build and install a site per customer specs, maintain safe work environment, daily use and completion of JSA forms, assisting with overall crew work, maintenance of vehicles and equipment, etc.
  • Must continue to work towards training and certifications for tower related work.
  • A plus to know how to read and understand drawings, piping diagrams, job specifications, mounting specs, testing procedures, etc.
  • Assist in the installation of all tower related aspects of wireless cell site
  • Ensure highest level of safety and quality control requirements are upheld
  • Assist in the assembly of monopole, self-support guyed towers, and rooftops
  • Assist in the transmission line and installation
  • Responsible for tool inventory and upkeep daily on job site
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • Past experience with climbing and/or tower cabinet and civil construction work is a plus.
  • Successful completion of safety in rigging coursework required
  • Ability to operate aerial lifts, man lifts and aerial platform equipment a plus
  • Successful completion of industrial first aid and rescue training and possess a competent climber card
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, piping diagrams, job specifications, mounting specs, testing procedures, etc.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment on the crew and be a valued member of the team and the company.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background and drug test.

Soft Skills:

  • Communicate in person, by phone and radio with supervisor, foreman and co-workers
  • Must work in a team environment participating in tailboards throughout the day
  • Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions
  • Must be able to work with a team, and independently as required

 

Wireless Systems Installer

Job Summary: 

Aristotle is looking for Wireless Systems Installers who can deploy from Phillips County, Lee County, or Saint Francis.  If you live near these areas of the State of Arkansas and are interested in working for a company who will provide complete on the job training and offers incentives, please apply.

The Wireless Systems Installer is responsible for the installation of broadband Internet equipment for residential and business subscribers and will work with other installers or independently as directed.  The Wireless Systems Installer will be required to work on distribution systems involving elevated towers or building roofs and to provide customer support, system maintenance, and inventory duties for the department. You will drive a company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and installs wireless Internet connectivity equipment for service subscribers, including routers, associated hardware, Consumer Premises Units or Subscriber Modules, and cabling.
  • Performs duties of an Aristotle services representative to subscribers by obtaining client signatures on required agreements, installation approvals, and work completion sign-off forms.
  • Reports problems or subscriber concerns to management as soon as practical and offers on-site analysis of issues to management that will facility resolution.
  • Ensures subscriber documentation properly delivered to management.
  • Prepares reports and assists with maintaining accurate client information in system databases to include data input.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma preferred but not required.
  • Previous construction or installation knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of wireless routers, their setup, routing requirements, IP transit, and knowledge of radio principals preferred.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Works well with hand tools.

Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) answers questions from potential and existing customers concerning Aristotle’s Broadband and Voice Over IP Phone products. The CSR will take phone calls regarding billing, service problems, new installations, and related questions. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer calls from potential and existing customers
  • Handle accounts receivable
  • Generate invoices for various products
  • Sell products
  • Generate appropriate customer documentation
  • Assist in the processing and tracking of new sales
  • Prepare division reports as required
  • Schedule new customer installations
  • Confirm customer appointments
  • Perform normal clerical work as required
Minimum Qualifications:

AUC prefers applicants with Customer Service experience.  However, we are always willing to train.
